poop poop poop, that's NOT the one that I want?!

Cavebaby's school year is staging a production of Grease this year. She told me she didn't want to star in it so she didn't audition at all, although she volunteered almost immediately to be part of the lighting and special effects crew.......

Anyhow, that doesn't seem to have dimmed her enthusiasm for the songs. Yes. All of them. At the top of her voice. One after another. Indoors and out.

Tell me more, tell me more, like did we very AAAAARRRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHHH!

Shouting and groaning and other ... err...stuff

Nothin' wrong with a spot of head-banging, eh? What about wall banging with the head board? Wife-banging?

I read this article about a woman who was arrested for having sex noisily with her husband. She was banned from making excessive noise anywhere in England. The public prosecutor said neighbours complained to police about early morning noises including shouting, groaning and banging the wall with the bed headboard, coming from this couple's house. Neighbours had apparently made 250 complaints and 23 tapes of the "moaning and screaming". The woman claimed that having lots of sex helped her to lose weight, and that it's unnatural not to make noise when having sex. The couple owned up to making noise as long as 3 hours into the early hours of the morning. Nobody, including their neighbours, got any sleep...

Yeesh, is it just British people?

sitting at home today

It's been a rather hectic time for me in the last 6 months or so. Each working day has been long, and work has eaten a rather large hole into home life.

For a change today, I have not been to work. In addition to being rather busy at work, I had not been very well with *cough* women's problems *ahem* for a while. After a rather bad bout in the last few months, I went to see our family GP again (she told me that i shouldn't feel bad, I last saw her 2 whole years before that...). Basically this is the root of my anemia, which is not getting better, and I got referred to a specialist right away.

I know I've complained about the National Health Service before, but i really got good service - 2 weeks ago I saw the consultant on the same day of my appointment, no last minute postponement and only waited 1 hour tralala. Went back today to see the women's clinic and had an inspection of my innards by hysteroscopy, together with a biopsy and smear test at the same time. Ah well, in for a penny, in for a pound. She saw a lump - fibroid, she thought. Oh, dear, I'm in the same boat as our dear Hijackqueen, maybe? Anyhow, that means I now have to go back for an ultrasound scan when my biopsy results come back. After that, who knows?

The two advantages I got out of today:
- the procedures were rather traumatic and I got to stay at home for the rest of the day.
- Capt CaveAhBeng got to play nurse...... but only when we are at home teeheehee.
